Popping in
This week month is crazy busy for me at work. I have maybe three days that do not have meetings scheduled. And I’m not talking about 20 minute catch-up meetings, I’m talking big meetings that take ages and leave you with about 23492384 more tasks to add on to your already giant task list. So, despite wanting to show you my yarn purchases (not really that exciting), show you my sock progress (turned the heel and just a bit under halfway done with the leg), tell you about why you always see British people wearing wellies when they go for walks, and show you more pictures of Paris, it’s really gonna have to wait for weekends this month.
All of next week I’m in training from 9-5 that includes doing HOMEWORK before training starts and during the week. Ugh. There’s a staff conference that lasts 1.5 days, there’s preparing a digital library for testing at the start of October using a system that was apparently designed by librarians who’ve never really been librarians or library users or something ’cause it is so developmentally backwards, there’s co-ordinating about thirty people to test another website due at the start of October, and oh the list goes on and on. It’s all too much. I felt the stress before the day was out and can’t wait until mid-October. I may need to plan a mini-getaway for them to decompress.
So anyway, yes, I’ll try to get some better updates here at weekends. Happy knitting!
I obviously do not have the skills the Yarn Harlot has when snapping pictures of my sock in progress visiting the sites… sorry for the out of focusness.
